Wasn’t much flavor in the cheese, sauce, or the crust. Very different pizza, I must be missing something. The owner is great, gotta respect him and what he does. Just not my kind of pizza unfortunately. I wanted to really like it!

Very very good pie, I asked for it to be cooked “dark golden”. Al Santillo himself told me “it doesn’t get any better than this”. Good strong tomato and herbal notes in the sauce, cheese is very good, not too salty, thin and crispy crust. Not much grease actually, well balanced, which was a pleasant surprise. Really do like this spot.

I don’t know what to think of this pie. Crust was not as good as I expected at all. Cheese was slightly above average but the sauce was wayyyyy too much. Pasty and a ton of oregano.

Gotta say, I couldn’t of been more disappointed with this pie. I’m not sure if I ordered the wrong thing, or if I am supposed to tell them something specific - idk. It tasted like Elio’s frozen pizza. That’s all I could think the entire time. I think it just had wayyyyy too much oregano on it. The sauce / cheese balance was fine, but the taste just was never there for me. I’m going to give it another go down the line and hope I get a better pie.

The 1964 created a new tier of quality pizza. Unmatched in my experience.

2011 pie. 1/2 sausage. Amazing. Great time talking to the owner. A must location.

Finally made it here after a few failed attempts. Great crispy crust. Wish the sauce had more taste and the score would have been higher. Still a good pie.

Was super excited to try this place but unfortunately it fell short of expectations. It’s still a solid pie, good crisp but the overall taste of the crust and sauce is very different and one I just didn’t love. We also got the garlic bread which was pricey at $15 and it was a 4.5 if I rated that. Overcooked, hard and dry bread with no garlic flavor at all because it was burned out. Very unique experience though and glad I tried it!

This is the 1967. Also had the Grandma but didn’t take a pick. The 67 is maybe the most flavorful slice of pizza I’ve ever had. If you like the tomato sauce that is. The crust is cooked perfectly. Crispy, crunchy and slightly thin. Cooked perfectly. The cheese is amazing, and there’s not a lot of it, but that’s the style of the 67. The star though is really the sauce. Cant describe it, you just have to try it. Literally insane. Grandma was good as well obviously and I would rate that an 8.4, but this review is for the 67
