Santucci's was quite unique and for anyone simply looking at the photographs or watching the Prez's review, you really shouldn't judge a book by its cover on this one! I have been a little turned off from upside down pizza after going to Osugnizzo's in Utica and being unimpressed with their Pizza as a whole. Santucci's was a whole different story however, is while their pizza looks like it'd be a heavy floppy mess based on the photographs, in reality it was very nice and light and had really good crisp throughout the entire pie! The sauce was extremely flavorful and quite sweet. The flavor seems more intense than it does on most pies as I think it being on top actually tricks your brain into noticing it more than you would on the average pie.

Blown away and more surprised that this is a grandma style think crust. Cooked to absolute perfection crispy crunchy light and airy. That buttery taste from the oil in the pan is incredible. Sauce is sweet, zesty and garlicky and perfect consistency as it’s a simmered sauce no bitterness. But what hit me first bite was the cheese. It had such a great taste melted perfectly to the top of the crust. This is the perfect combo and no question why all the talk about it but believe me the hype is real even if it’s not your style.

probably my favorite pizza I’ve tried, neck and neck with Angelo’s and Prince St in NY. The sauce is amazing and putting it over the cheese makes it great

Hybrid between a deep dish and a thin slice. The crisp was surprising for it being a thicker pizza. Tomato sauce on top made for a unique and tasty experience! Will be coming back!

First time trying the tomato pie. This pie had great crisp and flavor.

I can really appreciate this square pie. Overall, very well constructed: firm crunch crust, yet soft and buttery; embedded cheese quietly reinforces; sweet sauce.

Delicious upside down Sicilian pizza I let it cool then bake it for 10 min at home to make the crust crispy. Then its a 8.8

Ordered well done. Great crisp. Sauce is unique but tasty. Needs more cheese. Lighter than it looks which I prefer
