Saporito Pizza

There dough is very dense. The golden standard slices very heavy for a thin crust pizza. The cheese and sauce are OK. The crust does have a good flavor the square slice is a better slice. It is also a very dense pizza has better flavor on the golden standard a cheater between 6.9 - 7.1. Under specialty square slice I will give a 7.5 if they were to make a little less dense, the scores could be bumped a little bit.

Pizza came out hot with highly viscous cheese which was also a little greasy. Cheese drips off. Floppy pizza, but soft and tasty dough.

I guess I got this bad boy on a good day! Get the square slice- the regular round pie is a 7 at best…

I’ve always been up in the air on trying this place but tonight was proven wrong on what I initially thought. Got the thin square well done and it was a fresh pie. Basically this is a square bar pie and it was crispy light and even airy! The cheese tasted really good complimenting the crust and reminds me of some of the great north jersey bar pies. The sauce had the right amount of tang but no kick or over sweetness and matched great my only gripe maybe ad a touch more but wow maybe even underscored this but I think it was just perfect timing. On this night this place stands even with the heavy hitters and old school joints. You gotta try this slice!!

Bought a square piece & regular slice. Both had top quality sauce, cheese, charred bottom, zero flop. Square was much cheesier with a score of 8.2. Regular slice was good but nothing special: Regular slice: 7.5 Square slice 8.2 Overall: 7.85= 7.9

Very cheesy. I prefer more sauce. Cooked well. Enjoyable

Chicken bacon ranch. I went this way since I heard this older was known for specialty pies. Nice job on the crust relatively thin for a specialty pie. The ranch also sneaks in nicely. Definitely a decent pie but couldn’t go higher since my wife sharted after her first slice.

OK another quarantine review coming your way this time in Union New Jersey. I am at Saporito Pizza on route 22. I’ve seen this place here for about 1 million years but never stop bye but this time I thought I deserved a rating so let’s go. Overall I was pretty impressed with the crust it had a really nice crisp bite to it from top to bottom. Definitely was a grease trap but considering it didn’t soak through to the underbelly which is always good. Pretty decent consistency of cheese and sauce. A classic football pie slice. My knock on it is that it is a little flavorless. The cheese although well distributed kind of lacked some flavor which may indicate a poor quality of cheese and the sauce was also pretty bland. But all in all not a bad football slice. That crunch in the crust Wass it’s saving grace. 7.2 that’s the review OK bonus review time as you all know if you looked at my page I go to the classic Presidente style of just voting and reading the classic cheese but sometimes when something catches your eye you’re the lucky recipient of a bonus review. So today you were a lucky one. I’m going to rate the bruschetta slice because it was out on display and it looked like it had some promise. Overall I’m gonna go 6.7 . Was hoping for a much more but wound up a little underwhelmed mostly due to the fact that the cheese has the same bland Taste as a cheese slice it was helped out by a little pesto sauce and some fresh chopped bruschetta but the crust was also nice and crisp. Floppy and greasy. Very cheesy. Good crunch. Salty flavor.

Always been a fan of this spot. They use a plum tomato sauce that is very delicious. This particular visit wasn't the best. Scoring on past performances as 6.6 is a little low for this spot. All around solid place.
