Sarpino's Pizzeria Evanston

Got into town late, so not many options. Doordashed a pan crust with pepperoni and jalapeños. Arrived fast and hot, but I was also starving so my score may be inflated. Sauce is decent, crust is doughy, really greasy. But for a late night pie, I’ve had far worse. Definitely a good late night drunk pizza, too bad I didn’t have any wobble pops before hand.

Nothing wrong with the pizza but nothing special at all either. Cheese was decent but overall the pizza didn’t have much flavor. The garlic butter dip was essential, meaning that the pizza alone was not good enough.

One bite, everyone knows the rules, Very bad pizza, way too cheesy and cannot taste the sauce, hard as a rock. Nothing to go crazy about. Also, did I mention the pizza was just bland.

The speciality pizzas a here a great, and the dipping sauces are a must
