Dreadful owner Mike got up in my face threatening me “I don’t know a f-king thing about how to run a pizzeria” when I asked the girl at the register to cancel my pizza order after waiting almost an hour and a half for a regular pizza that never showed up at my table. I used to like the pizza here but after Mikes tirade I will never go there again. Plenty of other good pizza shops in the Torrington area that appreciate customers.

“The New Haven”. Super light, super crunchy, great sauce no flop. Charred beautifully. for “new haven” style. It’s very very good for the northwest corner.

Wow what a pie!!! I know it’s Torrington but man it feels like New Haven here. This is their traditional plain cheese pie cooked well done and the crisp and char factor is off the charts. Leoparding across the undercarriage that’s very light, not a hint of doughyness with the awesome coal fire taste. The sauce and hard cheese I wanna say pecorino Romano underneath is a perfect combination, the sauce has electric tang from the garlic and grated cheese and matches the new haven tasting mozz. The pie had the perfect ratio of sauce and cheese and the flavor synergy makes this a really special pie maybe I scored it to low thinking about it but rules are rules. The place has a great vibe inside with an incredibly friendly waitress and if your a fan of the NH style this place is must try and not just for the apizz, but any of their menu items especially the not pictured icecream and waffles. Branch out pizzaholics!!!

Close your eyes and you’re in New Haven. It’s coal fire yummy. They are really good. I didn’t expect this quality in Torrington but it’s the real deal pizza. I had the Margherita and it was exceptional. Worth the trip.

Re reviewed, take out 8.2, in house 8.4

This pizza looks great, sauce is great, but chewy with a huge flop and a good crust. $$$

I grew up on NH apizza. I’ve had the pie here rate an 8.9 but I’ve also had it rate a 6.5 due to overcooking. I feel it has the potential to surpass the greats if they got their shit together. Sally’s has 2-3 people doing quality control of their pies as they go out the door. That’s why they are so good.

Tasted good and the mozz was great but it was too thin and floppy due to it being so thin that some slices had everything dripping/sliding off it.

Closest thing to New Haven in Northwest CT.
