I grew up on NH apizza. I’ve had the pie here rate an 8.9 but I’ve also had it rate a 6.5 due to overcooking. I feel it has the potential to surpass the greats if they got their shit together. Sally’s has 2-3 people doing quality control of their pies as they go out the door. That’s why they are so good.

Sasso’s is always a great place to get a nice pie. Sauce is tangy and the bottom is crisp. Very good pizza.

Sauce is extremely high quality, tastes amazing. The floppiness however holds it back. Overall a great pizza, it just lacked some important qualities.

Tasted good and the mozz was great but it was too thin and floppy due to it being so thin that some slices had everything dripping/sliding off it.

A really good pie, has to be the only one in NW CT that comes close to any of the New Haven institutions.

Char earns respect and it was nice to see what these hot coal ovens were able to produce. Enjoyed this pizza a lot. I gave milestone the edge by a good margin this summer but tonight’s pizza was much improved. Hit the spot. Hard to give 8s these days and I’m not sure I can give this an 8 either

Coming from someone who eats a lot of New Haven pizza, this is the closest you’re going to get to it in the area. Very good pizza
