Alright Frankie. I was here a few weeks ago and it didn’t live up to the hype, but I gave it another shot today. First time was classic cheese. This time I went tomato basil. The sauce is fantastic and the crust has a buttery airy crunch. It would get a higher score, but the center of the pie had extreme flop. No crisp until halfway through the slice. The sauce and crust are carrying the score.

Great cheese and really interesting sauce. The crust and undercarriage are the weakest link in this pizza. Get that right and you’re into the 8’s.

What a spectacular old school pizza joint. So well run, pizza was crispy and delicious! Atmosphere in the restaurant is amazing and the staff is as solid a restaurant staff ever! I wish more restaurant owners took as much pride as Satchels’s does to ensure your experience there is so enjoyable. Homemade soda was also amazing and homemade dessert was delicious!

A lot of people said to try this place. Pizza was very bland & disappointing. Cheese and sauce wouldn’t stay on the pizza. Make sure if you are here to let the pizza cool down first never burnt my self that bad before.

It’s a Gainesville 8.6 but a world wide 7.5. Not much flop, a little greasy, great tang from the sauce, could’ve been cooked longer. Solid pizza for sure.

Best pizza we reviewed in Gainesville. No flop, great crust, tangy sauce, sweet crust. The lady asked if we were first timers and gave us a really great salad on the house. Funky atmosphere, nice courtyard outdoor seating. Great pizza.

Ok pizza, not worth driving across town for. To many toppings, which Makes it very salty for toppings like pepperoni. Crust is not crispy and is very filling. Hippie pie.
