Sauce is excellent. The vodka slice was even better than the cheese!! Solid pizzeria the pizza is light extremely thin crust.

This was pretty terrible. Limp, floppy, greasy slice. And the square slice was like eating cold soggy bread dipped in plain tomato sauce.

thin base, good sauce. More traditional style is to my taste even better. goes to the same category as kiss my slice. higher quality but the style does not go up there for me

There’s a reason this place is called sauce… sauce was absolute gasworks. There was some UMPH to it. Unbelievable slice overall.

Such an interesting slice, legit may be the most unique pizza I’ve ever eaten. The cheese and sauce was layered in a way that it was sorta like a margarita slice but also kinda not.

Got a slice of cheese and a slice of their upside down cheese. The cheese slice was great, tangy sauce, good firm under carriage, crunchy crust. The upside down was tangier, sauce on top, great experience

A lot of hub bub over this pizza, lots of “best I’ve ever had” posts. Is it good? Sure, it’s very good. Is it the best? Sorry, not even close. Ironically for a place called “Sauce” I didn’t think the pizza sauce was anything to write home about. I thought it was pretty good, not great. Worth a try for sure, but not the best in NYC.

Good but highly overrated. Covered in a silly amount of parm by default. Could throw a bunch of parm on a more cooked dollar slice and get the same taste

I had a pepperoni and an upside down cheese. The upside down is amazing. Not greasy but still tangy and a classic slice. One of the best slices on the lower East side.

Sauce was on point. Crust and cheese were just additions compared to it. For the price it was vary good.
