Savage's Wood Burning Pizzeria

Let us in before open, very friendly and hospitable. The owner was very friendly, took our order and served us. The pizza was good and saucy (but not too much), had a nice little crunch, and the pepperoni was very fresh. The cheese was also melted nicely and very subtle. Would come back again

Great crust with a really nice char. Sauce was flavorful and the right proportion. This is without doubt one of the best pizzas in New Bern! Friendly engaging staff as well.

Poor structural integrity but great unique flavors. Floppy crust, savory goodness. Drunken savage tastes like a nice chicken parm.

Not a lot of grease. Minimal flop. Sauce was a little bland but good overall flavor.

Great crisp. Sauce has some tang. Cooked perfectly. I like a little more flavor in sauce but this is a very good pie! Small mom/pop place. Love it. Visited from out of town and happy we did.

Slice of sausage - great undercarriage; perfect doneness and crisp. Right amount of sauce. Definitely coming back.

Crisp. Basil was nice addition to the sauce. While it was cooked well the crust lacked flavor
