Saverio's Authentic Pizza Napoletana

Pops brought home a pie for the boys to try. Place hooked him up with a free Saverios hat since that’s his name. Classy move 🤟🏻. Slice had a tone of flavor just not my favorite style of pie.

Excellent very unique compared to most of the other local places. Dave's score is way off and a fraud.

Pizza was fine. Typical napoletana style. Cooked well, sauce is fine, you can tell the mozzarella is homemade and fresh.

I don't love napoletine style but great place. Lots of options. If you like this style you MUST try it.

8.0 is for the original pie, I took a photo of this one bc I forgot to take a pic of the regular. Very good! I know Dave isn’t a Neapolitan fan but 6.8 was surprising

The ones been rated wrong by Dave. This pizza can’t be found like this anywhere around. The fig , prosciutto and arugula slice is amazing. Don’t do takeout. This must be enjoyed in-house as it would get cold in traveling since it’s so thin.

Delicious. Period. The Boss is wrong. Worth a trip!

What a good find. This is different than other Neapolitan because it’s cooked at a lower temperature and more evenly. Everything is so well balanced and the San Marzano tomatoes are exceptional. Great chew and nice soft crunch.

This is a part of my Pizza On The Pier series of short reviews. The event was hosted by Scott Weiner. We mostly had Neapolitan pies from different pizzerias. Crust was exactly what you'd expect: airy cornicione, floppy center yet melts in your mouth, pillowy, and outside of it's inherent lack of crisp, better tasting than most crusts. Charred exactly the right amount. If the slice had sauce it was naturally sweet San Marzanos. The other slices were either just real fresh mozzarella, mozzerella and soppresata, or the Argentinian pizza with onion. Loving this slice. Big charred up real pepperoni on a Neapolitan pie.

Best pizza in Massapequa!

Above average Neopoletan. Tangy sauce and very light.

Neapolitan style... pepperoni is fantastic! Cheese very delicious! Crust nice and crunchy! Sauce tasty not a bar pie but I give it a decent score and worth coming to when in Massapequa Long Island.

I don’t understand the low scores, I ordered 2 pizzas with the premium sauce and premium mozzarella and they were better than anything I’ve eaten from the NYC fancy places, I highly recommend eating straight out of the oven

I’m not usually one for Neapolitan style pizza but this place nailed it. The culture of the place and the guys working were 10/10. True New York!
