I have this maybe once a month not by choice, it's either this place or strawberries, raw garlic on the pizza, a bit strange, It is usually pretty soggie, good sauce and not completely terrible, but not great.

This is the definition of polarizing pizza. When a pie is unique, the spectrum of ratings slide from love it to hate it with few in between. The main ingredient that seems to be causing all the commotion is the sauce, which I can only assume is made from pure sugar. So sweet, you’ll feel it in your teeth. Not unpleasant, just different from your standard sauces. To be honest, the sauce is so overpowering, I didn’t even notice there was cheese on this pie. They sprinkle Parmesan on top to try to neutralize the sweetness. The pizza is smallish & thin, like it wants to be a bar pie but it’s clearly not. The dough is extremely floppy and soggy from the abundance of oil permeating throughout the pie. Way too much grease for such a small pie. The crust has a nice taste and is the crispiest part of the pizza. I commend them on creating a uniquely flavored pie, now they just need to take a few steps to improve the quality. Start with less oil and more crispiness, that will boost the ratings into the 7s. And lastly, include the Parmesan on the side so people can choose if they want it for themselves. Portnoy definitely would have scored higher if that were the case. As it stands, this is pretty decent pizza with lots of potential to improve.

Liked the crust. Parmesan cheese a unique touch but sauce is way too sweet and overwhelms. Family score 6.3.

Tangy sauce, good crust, better w/o the parm cheese. A little too greasy for me. 🍕

The slice was so thin that you could actually see right through the bottom! It had a lot of cheese, which raised the score, and the oil level was heavy. The only reason why the pizza was able to be folded without falling apart is because it was so friggen small! This is a pizza is a bar pie minus the bar.

Let me tell you, just an absolute great slice. Love the sauce, it really just pops out and the crust is just perfect. Although it’s got a flop and is quite greasy from time to time the sauce and cheese really makes up for it. Will say that the south Amboy location is 10x better and highly recommend that you go to that one over the Perth

The sauce is the only thing that nails out this pizza in the 5’s. A sloppy mess grease soaking through the box and a thicker than expected crust.

If you like sweet sauce, the first bite is heavenly. Great crust. This place emphasizes sauce, and it can overpower the slice, but that’s my style anyway. Quality stuff. Have loved this pizza for many years. The pizza here is better than the location in South Amboy.

Sicilian slice has to be their Trademark because it is very good a little thicker but on thin side for Sicilian slice crust done just right
