Scottie's Pizza Parlor SE

This might be the best pizza in Portland. I had the “Defino” (square slice) and the “#1” and both were amazing. The #1 is thin with an amazing crisp and tastes great. The square pizza reminds me of Detroit style but much lighter and crispier, and it was spectacular. I dropped the score a few decimals due to their mandatory 20% service fee but if you’re looking for fantastic pizza in Portland this is it.

Chewy and crispy sourdough crust. Sweet sauce.

Zero flop, sauce was delish and crispy. Slightly over cooked but it was fast. Dough was good too but the cook made it a bit crumbly. Everyone knows the rules.

Super flavorful pie cooked perfectly. Crust was amazing Lost some points for being $36 total for just a pie a drink and 1 $1 sauce. Better than apizza scholls. Worth trying just don’t go into debt doing it lol

Grading this on a NYC scale here. It's a bit cliche to say best I've had outside of NYC, but let's be real, the crust is spot on, undercarriage is 👌🏻, sauce is wonderfully sweet, cheese has the perfect consistency, they char it just right. Best I've found outside of NYC

Thin, good crisp, tomato sauce was a little to light but solid pizza.

Awesome flavored sauce and cheese!

The Defino (square, a little thicker, crispy edges) is incredible. Call early as they are limited. The round pies are also very good. A bit of sourdough flavor in the crust and awesome ingredients... but the sauce is the real star. Simple, tangy, pure tomato goodness.

Instant classic. Amazing flavor, crust and construction. Perfectly balanced - except for the added pepperoni. The regular DEFINO is just as good.

Thin under carriage but full crust. Crispy, perfect flop. A little bit of grease but brings it all together. A true pizza. Bonus points for circle pepperoni. That’s a review.

good overall slice with little flop. got your classic cheese and a wonderful tangy sauce. the ratio is pleasant with a little biased to the sauce. the crust has the nice charred look and taste, but would have liked if they left the pie in a little longer to get that satisfying crunch with every bite. happy pizza friday🤪

No flop, great crust, nothing to call home about but overall a solid slice.

I cheated a bit on this one and got their #1 which is still a classic style pizza, they just add some fresh mozzarella and oil to it. This pizza parlor was really cool. He’s got signed boxes from some of the most famous slices in New York. This gave me high hopes and didn’t disappoint. The pizza is light, the ingredients are all fresh. The sauce has a nice sweet tang to it. I haven’t tried a pizza scholls yet, but this is definitely the best pizza I’ve had in Portland. They are on a whole different level. Worth my 30 minute commute. Worth the 27$ for the pie. Worth trying over 20 places, most being horrible, to find it.

This was my first "Grandma" pizza in 35 years so I have no real comparison. That being said, this pie was absolutely delicious. Sauce was mouth watering. I will be ordering this again. Looking forward to trying the regular pie.

Very solid pie. Amazing crust and sauce. Some of the best in Portland hands down

8.6 on the white pie, very good. Plain cheese gets a solid 7.1 tomato sauce gets better after a reheat, little too acidic right out the oven. Over all great pizza, fresh ingredients, gotta get the Bianca!
