Excellent Wood-fired pizza. If you like garlic …this is for you

Dave needs to review this. If you’re scoring under an 8 then you don’t know what pizza should taste like.

Great sauce. Perfect under carriage good crisp. Solid slice. Roast beef on weck is amazing also.

The dough is crispy, light and airy. The sauce isn't over complicated and over seasoned. Cheese is a good quality mozzarella. The only thing I didn't care for was the slightly strong use of garlic. Other than that I didn't think I would get something this good upstate.

Looks good in the box but way too much garlic.

I’m a sucker for wood fired pizza

Probably some of the best wood fired pizza I’ve had. That being said, I’m not the biggest wood fired fan. If you like garlic, which I do, this is your pizza. The sauce is simple and fresh and distributed more robustly than most wood fired pizza varieties. The cheese is good and the crust has some doughy fluff to it. Lots of flop.

OK so my good buddy Zac, who has over 60 pizza reviews, gave this place a pretty low score and a much less than flattering review comment. We are usually pretty close on the scoring but I'm going to have to disagree with him on this one. Now, its not the best slice in the North East but I have had a lot worse. The crust is a little too doughy for me and the cheese was OK. The sauce is what got me. There was something very familiar to me about it. Reminded me of some bakery pizza back home, and there was tons of garlic. I like that. So I'm going with a bit higher score for nostalgic reasons. 7 flat. That's a review.

This place is convienently placed directly across the road from the Hotel i’ve been staying in! The only unfortunate thing about that is, is that the pizza is absolute garbage. They try to be fancy with their “Wood-Fired Oven”, but you can Wood-Fire a turd its still just a turd. 90% of the dough was cardboard and dry, while the other 10% was the very center of the pizza, and that was soggy and floppier than a wet sock. The amount of sauce was ridiculous. If you’re going to drown your pizza in sauce it better at least be good fuckin sauce. Instead it was acidic and cheap tasting. The cheese was rubbery and wanted to completely pull off the slice with every bite. I hated it.
