Sheetz

One of the good things about the food at Sheetz is you can eat it in your car. Usually. This was a sloppy mess. I generally like their subs (I go for meatball) so I figured putting it on a pizza would translate well. I like the sauce but there was too much of it, the pepperoni was too large and the dough wasn’t strong enough to support everything plus it kinda sucked. It was a bit of a disaster overall. Somehow the pizza was cut all the way through but the pepperoni that certainly fell within the cutting path was not. I think if they had a better dough rather than a flatbread, the score would be a bit higher but it’s probably more economical and easier for them to use this instead. Still wouldn’t be a great pizza but definitely better. I’ll just stick with the subs. Full disclosure: this was from a Sheetz location in Erie, PA but it wasn’t on the app so I put the review here.
