Silver Sands Pizza

On Colony Road and saw this place advertising extra thin crust. Wondered if it was gonna be as good as Colony Grill, but it was not. Still a nice spot.

Their pizza truck makes amazing pizza, so not sure what’s going on here. Crust was doughy and tasteless, cheese and sauce did not have much flavor. Not a place I would try again, but based on that price and convenience I could see it being a local option.

Fantastic for a local pizza place, great prices, waaaay better pizza than you would expect, it isn't pepes or sallys, but it's still really good, and not in New Haven!

Crispy, no flop, very thin. Good pizza! Maybe a little more salt in the crust moves it into 8 territory.

Great pizza, thin brick oven style, sauce and cheese very well done, and the sausage paired with the hot oil impressed me a lot. Sausage made with fennel seeds just like the way I make my homemade sausage. Will be among the great pizza places in wallingford for sure
