Silvio's Ristorante & Pizzeria

These two exquisite (and expensive) slices are man sized, fit for a king and full of flavor, full of crisp, firm and heavy. I didn't go for the plain one because it looked sad. On the left is penne vodka which had the perfect amount of perfectly al dente pasta but the vodka sauce was weak. Still a 7.4 On the right was lasagna slice was perfect and everything a lasagna pizza should be, sweet and bold meat sauce, tender beef nice ricotta and surprisingly none of the toppings fell off the pizzas. Easily an 8.1 Don't sleep on Silvios

Thin crisp

1 cheese slice, 3pm on a Thursday, $3.30 Pros: No Cons: 2/3rds rubbery cheese, 1/3rd grease. The crust, which seemed like it would be all right based on its crispy texture, tasted like a flavor black hole. Verdict: I want to score this a DNF, but that's not an option. There's a sign on the wall meant for employees, visible to customers, that reads under the larger message about phone use "IF THIS SIGN IS NOT BIG ENOUGH, I WILL GLADLY PRINT A LARGER ONE" I don't care who keeps fucking up, whoever posted it sucks to work for.

Pizza had NO flop. Crust was chewy because it’s on the thick side. Both the white and the sausage-broccoli rabe slices had minimal flavor.

WAY too much cheese...

Thick Crunchy Crust. No Flop. Little Grease. Not a bad slice. Doesn't have anything special. Typical Westchester Pizza.

Quality slice best plain slice in town. Good ratio of cheese to sauce to crust.
