Rating it based on the cheese slic (as always.) Solid undercarriage, a lot of flop, and a lot of grease. Great crust though! Probably the best place in DC for NY Style slice. I had the pepperoni after. So much better. Made me wonder if pie they pulled my cheese slice wasn’t their best - I’d give the peptone 8.1

We saw this place was rated #2 in America by the Italian organization, so we honestly expected it to be one of those overrated spots. But it ended up being great. A little greasy, but the undercarriage was perfectly crisp, and the flavor was on point. The restaurant itself is small, with only two tables and a few bar stools, but that doesn’t affect my score—this review is all about the pizza, and it was freaking great.
