Slice of Brooklyn

Reviewing the plain cheese. The crust is very crisp, almost no flop despite being thin and airy. The sauce is crushed San Marzano tomatoes. A great choice, no acid, not a ton of flavor but solid. I wish there were not so many large chunks, but it doesn’t take away from the taste. A bit greasy. This doesn’t fill you up and all the ingredients work well together. I don’t see how anyone could not at least like this. Will it ever be my favorite plain pie? Nope. But for a place more into the Brooklyn square Margherita pies, this is solid and you won’t feel heavy or regretful eating a few slices.
