Pizza Review
Alright Frankie -> really excited about today’s review we are at SLICE OF FIRE in Markham Ontario-> Canada (review time Jan 15th 1:30pm)... Little deceiving here Frankie because the name says slice but they no longer serve slices -> they have turned their business model into a ‘pie’ only business and I can respect that -> To be critical on businesses pizzas and to judge them fairly-> it only makes sense to do as many reviews on pies as possible-> not always possible-> but we try -> one bite everyone knows the rules-> all across the Greater Toronto Area we review Pizza and really gravitate towards pizza places like this -> that are all about pumping out good quality pizza -> and they focus just on pizza -> by not having a whole bunch of other things on the menu (to get confused by like yesterday )-> they have 26 signature pizzas and they offer a ‘build your own pizza’ option that you can explore to create whatever it is that you want from this hard-working duo -> a married couple —> husband and wife -> great people and who can blame them for getting sick of selling slices? It’s was High time that they stepped up their business model and probably stepped up their game in the process -> and they are now in the kitchen pumping out the pizzas -> and they have no time for slices -> even though they are called SLICE OF FIRE -> we like that attitude—> we support it and we can get behind it -> so much so -> that we actually came out here today it’s January it’s Cold it’s Canada -> we’re here trying SLICE OF FIRE —->Seeing how they don’t sell slices any more Frankie maybe they can consider a name change? That’s just a business tip -> that’s how we do it here —-> we review pizzas-> we bite em’ and score em’ -> (1 to 10 / one bite / everyone knows the rules / bite it / score it -> 1 thru 10 -> here we go) and Frankie this was not the cheapest Pizza -> it came in just under $20 for the medium margarita and we judge all of our reviews on basic pizzas just like el’Presidente would do-> one bite everyone knows the rules—> this was the most basic pizza they had on the menu-> we bite it score it -> we ordered our pizza for a timed pick up and guess what ?? it was perfectly on time -> even though there was no one there -> oh an another thing Frankie -> we are the only one of the reviews left on this app (for this place) so far —> that we consider a professional review -> so we came out here and we are trying the basic Margarita pizza it’s their classic —> and most basic pizza—> the one we choose from all places to give a fair indication of what all their other pies would be like -> but the thing with this margarita pizza —> was that it had slices of tomatoes on the pizza ?? and a lot of the times that we try the margarita pizza from Italian places —> it doesn’t have any actual tomato slices —> and The people looked Italian -> so alarm bells are going off Frankie —> but we don’t want to racially profile —> so who knows ?? maybe they were real Italian ?? but it doesn’t matter because for the traditional lover of the margarita? —> with tomatoes slices? in the middle of the pizza!? that might come as a shock—> so we are deducting one full point for that —> One bite everyone knows the rules —-> it did have zero flop ... ( some would call it a Better version of Pizza Hut Frankie - I wouldn’t - some would - I wouldn’t)... It was a homemade tomato Sauce —> made from the tomatoes that were put on top—> that’s a bonus point Frankie—> The last time we got tomatoes on top of our pizza was at 8 mile—> but those little tiny tomatoes 8 mile used were different than the sauce that 8 mile used -> so it was a huge contrast in the taste -> and therefore we had to deduct points from the 8 mile pizza —> that was not the case here with the SLICE OF FIRE —> this hot Italian duo really nailed the sauce and the tomato was a compliment to the sauce —> even though we didn’t care to have tomato slices on top of this margarita pizza-> it definitely wasn’t bad and we will definitely be ordering one of these when we drive by in the future-> undercarriage Had absolute perfect char and the crust was perfect-> and the longer you hold it ?? Sure the more the cheese would weight it down and eventually create a slight flop but -> but who’s judging —> when you first picked up the slice there was no flop and it is a mix between a thin Chicago Pie and a Pizza Hut after taste ->> this pizza was heavy and it was really good —> we obviously finished the whole pie-> We love everything about this place and we highly recommend it (though we deducted one FULL point for the tomato slices) —> so read between the lines—> this is a very good pie and deserves a 7.8 (professional score) SLICE OF FIRE Pizza joint! Yeah it that’s good!! We can officially put this in the top three (or four) pizza places that we’ve tried so far in the entire GTA 7.8 ... that’s a review.
