Slice Project

Went to the beer mule location by the airport. Decent pizza but nothing really stands out. Sauce and cheese are generic in flavor and the crust is decent, but not awesome. I like a little char and that's not the case here and none of the ingredients stand out. The location is pretty cool, grab a slice while you get a beer next door.

This slice has all the requirements to being a top tier pizza but it was way too oily. Aside from that, great tangy and lil sweet sauce, evenly spread. Great amount of cheese. Spot on undercarriage and the end crust was burnt just enough for flavor. Dough was crispy and the crust had just a little fluff to it too. Probably best in SC county right here. Take away some of the oil and it would be an 8+. But for that reason I wouldn’t drive 2 hours to get it.

Best pizza on the central coast. dont @ me. It by far has the best crust, sauce is perfect, cheese is top notch. Lil’ pep beats any slice any day.

Red Top is exceptional, all the slices are good, especially the White Bugatti. All single slices have a good crunch no flop no grease. I’m in the food industry and I have the habit of looking at the quality of ingredients being used at restaurants. These guys are legit all high end ingredients and not cutting corners.

Great slice! First Detroit style pizza and it was great you can taste every ingredient highly recommend

This pizza was pretty good it was a bit greasy but no flop nice and crispy undercarriage one of the best pizzas around the area for sure!!!!!!!

Excellent crust, tasteful sauce, solid cheese. Very good pizza. Light and airy but not thick. Really good pizza… had to get an extra slice. Crust is so good

Plain slice was excellent. Tangy sauce with a natural sweetness. Crisp dough with a nice chew. Best pizza in the area.

On a yelp scale? This is a 5 ⭐️pizza spot in California. On a kid from brooklyn NY scale? This is a 7.8. I rate NY/Sicilian style 🍕 . You won’t find me reviewing that thick cali crust 🍕 How I rate: Crust, Cheese, Crisp, Flop, Sauce, Grease, Style, Freshness. Pizza hits all the marks. Nice sauce to cheese ratio. The dough is excellent, makes you want to crush the whole slice, along with the crust. I’ll revisit when I can sit there and eat it. Damn covid.
