Slices

OK, here. We are on a beautiful Friday. Junior promise tonight. Heading out to fire Island tomorrow. Big Puerto Rico trip next week for the 50th. And we’re getting a good Pizza review in. Came up to Hastings, now this place I’ve seen before, and it’s interesting, cause the box they’re using is Rosario‘s Pizza, in Astoria Which Dave gave us 7.7. But I do have high hopes. Let’s get into it. Pretty good pizza. Decent crunch, zero flop. Good sauce to cheese ratio. If you crisp it up a little more. Would be even better. Nice and thin. I would say decent football Pizza. Good all around. But nothing to write home about.

This place is the only one on this app located in Hastings-on-Hudson. The regular slice is serviceable but forgettable, it's something I'll gladly have when I have business in this town but I won't go out of my way for. I would say the same about the BBQ chicken slice I had too, it has the homemade sweet BBQ sauce I'm addicted to on these kind of pizzas, but I wish this slice had more chicken. That would have gotten a score in the low 8s, the standard score which i normally give the specialty slices that are in my fave five! Plain slice gets the 6.8 I'll give the BBQ slice a 7.9.

It’s serviceable

It’s not a bad slice but it’s not the best, crust is delicious, nice and greasy but the sauce has no flavor to it at all. Like I said not the best but it’s not the worst in the area.
