I really wanted to like this pizza because the people there seem very friendly and it's a cool local establishment. With that said, the pie is par at best. Very doughy and undercooked in my opinion. The sauce is average, the cheese is meh, and there's a oil and herb finish on the top that I really would prefer not to have. They're about 20 minutes away, so I probably wasn't going back anyway unless it was really good, but I wouldn't go back (for the pizza) even when I'm in town. I added .5 for the friendly staff.

The pizza of my childhood returns. Just about as I remember it. The crust seems a little thicker, but still excellent. A little on the heavy side with no flop.

So this was a much anticipated review and I finally got a pie. I will say that the dough is really good, fresh, a good crisp and light. The pepperoni was good and the homemade sausage was really good. No grease and you can tell that top notch ingredients are used. I will say though I like my pizza with more sauce and this had barely any on it. Even with that said still good taste. As a side note the homemade italian dressing was amazing. My kids each gave pizza an 8.6, my wife came in at 7.5.
