Today, I set out to find the best well-done pepperoni slice in Summit, New Jersey, stopping at three popular pizza spots. My first stop was Doria's Pizza. While the slice wasn't as well done as I hoped, it had a satisfying, classic pizza flavor that hit all the right notes. Next, I tried Village Trattoria, where the slice was noticeably more well done than Doria's and slightly more affordable. The flavor was quite similar, but the extra crispiness gave it a slight edge. Finally, I visited SQR Artisan Pizza, which unfortunately was my least favorite of the three. The slice lacked depth in flavor and was disappointingly dry. In ranking the slices, I'd place Village Trattoria first, followed by Doria's, and lastly, SQR Artisan Pizza.

Solid, but very heavy and doesn’t wow you.

Lucious squares at sqr! The margh here. They are on traditional Roman’s side rather than a Sicilian or Detroit. The vodka was intensely good with peas and prosciutto and mushrooms. Killer stuff!

For almost 2 years this pizza shop has been feeding the locals of Summit and those visiting from the Summit Train Station - to no surprise my experience was excellent. The brand, decor, and outdoor seating had me HOOKED, not to mention the Square style pizza (fits the brand perfectly). The pizza well done and had a crunch to it, the cheese and dough was the perfect portion. The sauce was sweet! I was very intrigued by their selection of specialty pizzas as-well. Nice and crispy

Great pie. Good sauce/cheese/flavor, crust was very fluffy tho. Not bad crust at all - even though it was soft it was clearly high quality. But could have a little more crispness.

I fucking love this pizza. All the slices I’ve tried have been great. Honestly should have gave like an 8.4. Buffalo chicken and plain are the go-to’s. Shout out to the Summit cop who put me onto this spot.

This pizza was fricken awesome. The crust tastes good with a good crunch. This pizza doesn’t have flop but it’s got some pop. The sauce has a great flavor that isn’t too over powering and the cheese is the bomb.

Great slice, recommend the tomato pie over the classic cheese.
