Very good taste but it was a little soggy/floppy in the middle. It could’ve been cooked more. The dough had a good taste as well they avoided the dirty NJ dough taste.

It’s delicious. Plain and simple. Bar pie!

A custom made pizza chicken , bacon , hot honey and our waitress was very quick and good her name is Sherry.

The best Grandma slice in the state

One of my favorites and was disappointed. Not crispy and sauce wasn’t up to standard. Will 100% give another chance

Rating is on the regular slice. Thin and greasy. Grandmas was a lot more flavorful.

Great crunchy crust on the edges but undercarriage gets too soft by the middle. Sauce is quite good.

Super thin, super light, and full of flavor. Sauce made your eyes pop! It’s always impressive how you can get so much flavor in such a thin bite. You could eat this whole thing and not feel like a fat piece of shit, which any pizza lover appreciates.

One sentence everybody knows the rules! Crispy pie that thankfully I had other toppings on to give it some flavor was just ok. That’s a review!

Very good pizza, particularly the taste of the cheese, and great atmosphere inside. Had both the regular cheese pie and grandma pie, and highly recommend the grandma slice.

Squan Tavern has been serving up quality pizza pies since 1964. Bigger than a bar pie and a style that resembles more of a tavern pie, it’s a respectable size, thin, with decent firmness. The cheese has a very distinct flavor, a stringy flow, melted well but pulls with each bite. It’s a very tasty blend with some sharpness and a hint of oregano. Unfortunately, the sauce is a bit silenced in both quantity and quality. Add another ladle to the pie and perhaps the flavor of the sauce will come through; otherwise, I feel like it needs more spice to give it some kick. Luckily, the crust is outstanding and saves the entire pie. Crispy, crunchy, fantastic taste & texture, the crust is easily the star. Definitely a pretty good pizza overall, with a few sauce adjustments, it could easily climb into the 8s.

Slightly above average pizza. Sauce is a touch too sweet for me and crust could be more well done. Definitely needed to add a bit of salt and crushed red pepper to flavor the margarita. Sausage pepper and onion pie had a lot of flavor.
