Square Peg Pizzeria Glastonbury

Usually don’t do this but noticed my original view was taken down for sobe reason. So here is the picture of the marg pie I ordered a few months ago. Where the crust was basically translucent. These pies aren’t cheap and ppl should know what they might be getting if they order take out. Hopefully this review won’t mysteriously disappear again.

Great taste. No flop. No too much sauce. I like it!

Decent char for a wood fired oven. New spot in Berlin at the Truck Bar. Good flavor.

Somewhat of a hybrid between a neopolitan and a tradish thin crust. Great smokey wood fired flavor. It's good but you should come here for the Detroit.

Pepperoni slice is better. Needs more cheese, cooked well though

Square Peg Pepperoni Pizza looked good. There was some char from the wood fire and they use thin sliced stick pepperoni. The pepperoni edges curled up and was spicy. The char contributed to the taste. Otherwise the pizza was disappointing. A lot of flop, the under carriage was ok and the dough didn’t have much flavor.

Solid Neapolitan pizza, not usually a huge fan but this was a solid crust with a good tangy sauce.

Don’t have a picture. Just wasn’t a good pizza. It was thinner a piece of paper. Don’t encourage going here, waste of time

Tons of flavor here. Sauce has a great tang and ingredients are fresh. Crust is light, thin and crispy. Nice char on the edges. Only thing keeping the score down is too much cheese. Lots of grease.

Doughy on one side. Burned on the other.

This kind of pie is popping up all over the state recently. Solid slice. Light and crispy. I’m starving so it was solid to me.

Decent at best. I understand they are new but you can’t serve soggy pizza. The Sicilian was too chewy. I like the combination of pizza. I’ll try it again at a later time to see if they have improved.
