As a Michigander, this one ranks among the better Detroit style I’ve had outside of Michigan. Highly recommend!

Very good pizza. Crust was very crunchy and tasty. Cheese and sauce were well balanced and good. The slices were thick. I’m new to Detroit style pizza, but overall I enjoyed it!

This review is mostly for the regular cheese pie. 6.9 for me. The base and the crunch were perfect. This could really be an 8 point something. The issue I had was it was too salty and greasy. I'm new to Detroit style so not sure if that's expected.

Best Detroit style pizza in town.

Although it’s square pie guys, this came from local kitchen at Palo Alto. I never had it as SF is out of the way so was excited to see it available. Toppings were pretty good, couldn’t really taste hot honey. Not really crunchy as I was expecting. Probably better if eaten right away instead of take out. Overall it’s ok but not worth $24 ! I can get same Detroit quality pizza in Costco frozen section.

This hit the spot, especially after a few drinks from the Buena Vista Cafe (1-2 blocks away). Great crunch and depth of flavor.

This was actually from the Lafayette local kitchens location - soooo delicious. The perfect balance of airiness and density. A1 crunch. I’m hooked. Last bite had a little spice to it 🔥

Alright... Pizza Review Time!! We are here in San Francisco in the SOMA District off of Mission Street at Square Pie Guys. One bite everyone knows the rules... First impression it looks amazing. It’s nice and light. Lots of crunch through the slice. Great tasting sauce and perfect ratio. One of the better Detroit style I’ve had... Going to go 8.2 and that's the review!!

About is fantastic Detroit style as you'll get in California. Crispy cheese crust was perfect. You can taste the good Rich mozzarella. Overall a fantastic Pizza!

One of the one places where you gotta just get the regular cheese. The 48 pepperoni pizza sounds tempting but it’s clear the oils from the pep taint the pie. Get the cheese, trust me

Best pizza in SF! I’ve tried it all and this spot is the best. The crust, sauce, ingredients and cooked doneness is superb!

Love Detroit style pizza good crunchy crust cheese to the edges an carmelized could use some more sauce pepperoni are good an crispy but lack flavor do to being burnt still overall a good pie

If you’re around the bay area it’s definitely worth a trip to try Detroit style pizza if you’ve never had it. The crust on these is bonkers but the cheese and sauce (need to try the red) leaves a little more to be wanted. Overall a solid, solid pizzer.

Marginally better Pizza Hut tasting pie, for triple the price

Very cool new spot on the mission. I was really hoping for a top fiver, but it looks like your standard Detroit pie. Don't love the Sauce and Sauce is everything.
