Sweet sauces, solid for Detriot style but was on the heavier side. A two slice max pie. Good crunch on the crust sliced but the taste of the cheese overwhelms the sauce instead of compliments. Overall, great Detriot style pie

Rating for the Detroit slice only. Great folks running a legit Detroit pizza spot. Kinda strange that it is a slice shop. This made the Detroit extra crunchy upon reheat. What I love about Detroit pies is the juxtaposition of the crunchy exterior with the soft doughy interior. That lacks here. Nonetheless, the Sicilian is amazing. Soft, fluffy Roman Pinsa-esque. The Pao de Queijo was unexpected, but had to order. They were also fantastic. Overall, definitely recommend a stop here if in SD.

Great little pizza place. Love coming here! A tad bit pricey but what isn’t in CA. Super crunchy and fluffy crust if that’s your thing. Not a thin slice. Sauce sweet with a slight tang. Each bite kinda makes you wanna eat more.

I’m from Detroit and this is the closest thing I have had to Detroit Style since moving here. Very good, a little too saucy for my personal preference. Definitely my favorite pizza joint in San Diego. Now add some appetizers to your menu, like a Buddy’s style antipasto salad!

Square pizza is phenomenal. Crispy crust, sauce is delicious, just the right amount of cheese... I get it when having people over and everyone loves it...it’s great stuff!
