Stained Glass Pub

Had to come to the original stained glass, it is even better. The crust has a special flavor like beer or something used in it that makes it worth the trip.

Gets better every time I have it. Sweet sauce and cheesy. Expect to be 15 pounds heavier after you leave.

This is my 3rd attempt to see if I like Maryland style. I've been to Gentleman Jim's and Ledo. This was better than both, but I just couldn't get it into the 7s for me. I guess it's just not my style. Not a fan of the cracker crust. The top wasn't browned enough even though the crust itself was crispy. It also needs help with spices. What I'd say is, if you are into this style, then you will absolutely love the pizza here.

Great crust. It’s flakey, light, and good taste. Not doughy at all. Tomato sauce has a nice tang but slight after taste. It’s a thin, square shape so pretty expensive for a large ($18). Don’t expect to feed more than 2 people with this but overall great pizza and worth the price.

Square pizza so only the middle slices flop, sweet sauce and good cheese spread. Excellent toasting of the cheese with sporadic spotting for crunch. My first slice since joining One Bite - many slices consumed over the years. A Wheaton institution.

The crust is thin pub style but with a bit of crisp crunch on the edges. Cheese has a good flavor was portioned good not to much not to little. The sauce left something to desire maybe because it’s very little in the pie. Pretty good for Maryland style pizza. Very reminiscent of Ledo’s but maybe a little better. 1/2 price with a drink or side order during Covid so excellent value.

One of the four originators of the Maryland-Style Pizza. Crispy edges on the crust, yet soft and flaky underneath. Cheese and sauce compliment each other so well. Slices are not heavy. One of my favorites!

Cheese a lil loosey goosey, slid off the bread. Lackin a tidbit on the SAUCE. But overall good cheese, good crunch to the crust. 6.9
