Open since 1989, they’ve been in the pizza biz for over 30 years. Billed as a Greek & Italian restaurant, I was a little wary of their pizza style; thankfully it’s traditional Italian pizza as opposed to the Greek style pies. The dough is surprisingly exceptional in both taste & texture; very flavorful, not bland at all, undercarriage was a little soggy but the crust was exquisitely crunchy, the star of the pie for sure. The cheese is ordinary, harboring a ton of grease, zapping the taste of the cheese and causing the significant floppage in the dough from moisture buildup. The sauce is slightly overmatched by the oil, not sweet, more bitter and tangy with just enough kick to push through and not drown in the grease. The dough provides a great base for a decent pie; unfortunately, the other ingredients don’t carry their weight. Having not expected much coming in, I was pleasantly surprised overall. This is very solid, yet unspectacular neighborhood pizza. With a few minor adjustments, this pie could easily rise into the upper 7s; the dough provides potential.
