Pizza Review
The Good: This is a “thin crust” joint which I’m not usually into but the crust was surprisingly firm and crispy. Atmosphere was also cool. The sign says, “since 1964” and the decor shows it. Very 70’s. Dark and murky. Oldies blaring. Beer flowing. Good lunch special. Salad bar had surprisingly good potato and pasta salad. The Bad: Topping seemed like they were just thrown on top of the pizza after it came out of the oven. I like my toppings at least a little baked in. Flavor was just ho-hum. Wasn’t bad, though. I’d come back if I was passing through (like I am today) but I wouldn’t necessarily recommend.
