A pan-style pizza vaguely reminiscent of Pizza Hut, but better taste, and without the bucket of grease. It has good flavor, and the pepperonis are slightly charred at the top, which is a good thing. But, I am just not wowed by it. The crust while not bad, seems a tad dry/plain despite a coat of butter, and there's not really any extra crisp to speak of.
I think what that honestly comes down to is that there's nothing to make it stand out. It's an assembly line pie put into a pan, and in & out of an oven. So it lacks authenticity. There's no coal-firing or charring, no Italian flair. I think anyone with a hot enough oven could probably pull this off. So while it doesn't do anything wrong, it's just run of the mill pizza. That's not to say it's bad; I like its flavor more than Reginelli's and Italian Pie, but it could just never stand up to a real Italian homemade-style restaurant pie.
It does the job well enough though. I'd eat it again if someone wanted to go, or if I caught a good deal.
