Stretch Pizza

Good undercarriage, good crisp, the sauce was tangy and fresh. Overall a very good pizza and great example of New York pizza.

Dave hit this one on the head. Good flop - sauce is amazing and the char on the crust was perfection. Thankyou One Bite and Stretch! We will be back!

Definitely a solid pizza! That sauce is sweet and it just dances on your pallet.

Review 99 - For real this time - really cool set up, nice sitting next to kitchen. The cheese was tangy and salty, sauce had a nice umami to it but it was too light. Crust was best part. For $24 for a 12 inch pizza, that doesn’t completely blow you away, it’s too much.

This was the BEST pizza in NYC after visiting 7 other top spots. Thin, crispy, sweet n acidity sauce. No flip, stiff as a board! Amazing stuff!

Excellent pizza, good beer on tap. Looks like it could be a nice date night spot as well. I also met the owner, Wylie. Very nice guy with a great staff.

This pizza was so, so good! I don’t know how the crust was so fluffy yet baked through. Great level of cheesiness and really good pepperoni. I’m excited to come back to try more pizzas.

Outstanding pie. Usually I find the sauce or crust are the standouts but in this case it’s the cheese. I don’t know what it is but one of the better mozzarella I’ve had and the hint of parmesan elevated it. Crust was delicious too (seems like they add a good amount of sea salt to it but not too much). Sauce was tasty but not at the same level as crust or cheese. I’d recommend also their specialty pie, ploughman, which has horseradish, gouda, ham, and onions. Sounds like an odd combo but it was so good. Would put that at a 8.7

Got the Classic NY Pizza - cheesy, a little greasy, light on the sauce (my preference), crispy outer crust but floppy under-carriage. For overall taste, I’d give the pizza a 7.8, but I’m someone who HAS to factor price into everything, and for $22 on a 12-inch cheese pizza - it brings my score down to a 7.4. Pizza was good enough I forgot to take a picture of it so here’s the restaurant! Cool vibes!

Amazing new spot!!!! Stretch is a newer spot downtown created by two dudes from different culinary backgrounds to make an amazing interpretation of NYC pizza. I’ll say right out the gate this is a 9s pie if a large was available as they’re only 12”. Cooked in the newer electric style ovens the crust is airy and crispy first but to last with great charring atop and underneath, great flavor. Sauce had great tang with hints of fresh garlic something I’ve been missing lately and nicely herbatious but the cheese!! It had the Grande mozz zing to the pie, incredibly fresh tasting and had that zing you kill for especially as it melded with the sauce fresh out of the oven and topped with shredded and shaved parm. Perfect flavor complex with the only complaint being there wasn’t enough to fill me lol. Place is a nice new modern spot with great people and better service. Check them out if your looking for something new!!!
