Super thin crust, zero flop, tasty cheese & sauce….a really great bar pie. Never a disappointment

Not to be confused with Star Tavern, Sun Tavern is like it’s cousin who wore chain wallets and smoked cigarettes in the 5th grade while listening to Nine Inch Nails. Truth is though it’s not that far off from the hyped star tavern in terms of thin bar pie (not as thin but thin). If you can get past it’s gritty under belly this place is great—-and much more spaced out than the star.

Amazing crust screen cooked good tasting geese but lack of sauce kinda knocked it down cuz what sauce there was tasted pretty good. All in all hometown review nice bar pie!

Standard bar pie. No flip, but a decent place to grab a beer and pizza.

A little too thin for me but not quite the cracker thin crust I’ve had elsewhere. Bonus points for being across the street from where I met my wife.

Bar pizza. 100%. Good flavor all around, but the crust could use a little more. A little greasy on the cheese. Amazing thin stick pepperoni which saved it for me. Modest crisp but needed to be cooked a bit more well done and I could have scored it hurt. Good stuff I’d repeat.

Wish it was a little more well done. “World Famous Pizza” is definitely strong. Don’t get me wrong though, it’s solid pizza. A solid bar pie. Good, not great.

Better than overhyped gimmick joes across the street

Virtually no flop, small bar style pizza. You could handle a whole pie on your own.
