Surf Rider Pizza

Lots of flop. Searing hot! But decent taste once it cools down. A bit overpriced.

Solid quality pie, on looks alone it’s easy mid 7’s but the cheese to sauce ratio and the flavor of the sauce make it possibly my new go to pie for less than a 15 minute drive. Not greasy at all for my pie, could have been a 7.9 with a bit more crisp.

Had a cheese slice and their specialty surfrider slice. Premade and they reheat to order. Not nearly enough sauce or cheese and the crust is stale from sitting in the counter all day. Below average at best.

Solid NY style pizza. No flop, great crisp on the bottom, and the cheese and sauce compliment each other well. If you are in the area, it’s 100% worth stopping in to get a slice and see what you think. The by the slice will come out a little crispier than buying a whole pizza, so depending on who you are that’s a good or bad thing. The whole pizza though is not super crispy, just crispy enough to not have any flop. Overall a well rounded pizza worth a try, and one that can compete with the best from the right coast ;)

So this place is really good. Greasy as all get out, but still a solid pie. Awesome crisp on the crust, but floppy as a flacid {(you know) kids show)}. Flavor is on point.

I love the folks at this spot, good variety of slices. A little on the greasy side sometimes so it’s left me with heartburn on occasion, and it’s honestly not the best cold slice, if you’re eating leftovers. It is a really solid slice though, good crisp, light cheese, sauce has a nice solid tang. Aside from the gold standard plain cheese, Try the white pie, and the ricotta artichoke slice is amazing as well.

Wicked greasy. The crust is still crispy in spots despite the grease. This pizza is OK, and the best within reasonable walking distance from my house. D’Amatos is literally across the street from my house, but I walk a mile instead to come here. Still, that isn’t saying much. Much better pizza can be had within a short drive of this place.

Score is averaged between girlfriend and I...pizza was too well-done, sauce had potential, cheese was cheese??? Maybe I couldn’t get the right taste of because it was too crispy. Better luck next time...Games available for play, which is cool though.
