Reviewing a cheese and a McFly at Surly. Very strong. Great crunch. Better than Young Joni and Black Sheep. Elite.

Overall very very good, Crust is absolutely perfect! Cheese was a little fancy and it left a Great Lakes worth of grease on top! Would definitely recommend though, great pie. And the place has a great vibe.

Had high expectations based on some rave reviews. A little overrated in my opinion. Crust was very good but had a lot of grease on it, flavor was good, but not great. Definitely prefer Black Sheep and El Mar in Plymouth over Surly, but good overall. The rest of their menu is fantastic.

Good crispy crust, right out of the over so a little bit of flop. The one with bacon (McFly) on it had very thick cuts of bacon. Really solid pizza.

A little greasy and did not have very much pepperoni. But I love the charred crust and has great twang to it. I left not feeling miserable either because of the thin crust.

alright minneapolis... here we’ve got a solid looking pie from surly brewing. first observations were that it had that beautiful coal fire char and look to it. the taste itself was actually really good, but not phenomenal. crust was spectacular, cheese was great, but the sauce was average. there weren’t a lot of cons other than that it was greasy and a personal size pie. 100 percent this is probs the best pie in the twin cities. keep in mind it is coal fire, so fans of a bigger crust may not feel the same. would definitely travel across town for this one! that’s a review!

Great, crisp, charred crust, not too much sauce, not enough pepperonis.

Absolutely amazing pizza, tied for first place with Black Sheep for best pizza in the Twin Cities.

White clam pie is as close to New Haven style apizza as we can get in Minneapolis. Thin, charred and chewy crust, just right amount of toppings. If this place was in New Haven, they wouldn’t be embarrassed by The Big Three. SOLID!!

One of the top pizza in the Twin Cities. The sauce is very simple and there’s not much of it, otherwise it would be the best in MN.
