The dude that left a 4.whatever score and subsequent review is and insanely terrible judge of what good pizza is. They probably like Greek “pizza”... This place is a Godsend to people that need their NYC style pizza in a sea of terrible “pizza” (Greek). The pizza doesn’t travel well (sign of a good quality pie) but the sauce is basic (crushed tomatoes), the cheese is tangy and the crust is thin and crunchy. It’s a good fix without driving hours to NYC or New Haven. Ignore that terrible review from the 4.whatever bandit and get your ass to Sweet Evalinas.

Dave Portnoy. Get out to Woodstock. Or the one with the hippies in the 60s. The one in CT that has a pie worth driving to. How Portnoy has not found this place is beyond me. If it were near a highway, it would be one of the busiest spots in Connecticut. The fact it’s tucked away on a small CT back road keeps it busy, but reasonable during the week. On weekends, you better call ahead at least two hours sometimes more if you want to see a pizza in your future. Worth the drive, worth the wait, and Portnoy needs to get here pronto. Get on it!

Good pizza for being out in the middle of no where but definitely not best in CT. Cheese was as greasy as the pepperoni. Ton of Woodstock flop. Wouldn't go out of my way to get pizza here again. Good of you are already out here.

Big Flop pizza, the sauce is sweet sauce and tastes very homemade and fresh, cheese is very good maybe could use a little more. Thin crust pizza. Overall very good pizza would recommend

So much left to be desired, very let down after seeing “best in connecticut” everywhere. No crust at the top, huge flop, too greasy. Had to order “extra well done” to get even remotely close to a fair slice. Even then it still wasn’t crunchy. No flavor in sauce or cheese. No reason to eat this pizza unless I needed to eat to survive.
