Pizza Review
Not a lot of reviews for a place that’s been around since 1990. Nevertheless, this is pretty decent pizza. A very large, traditional round pie, with soft & thinnish dough, not much flop, firmish undercarriage, with solid crust in both taste & texture. These big slices taste very similar to the NYC dollar slice shops, particularly the 2 Bros Pizza chain; however, this pie is of a bit better quality, a tad more crispy, definitely more buttoned up, despite that dollar slice feel & flavor. The sauce has that familiar garlic powder taste, semi-sweet, not overly flavorful but certainly pleasant-tasting. The cheese is a basic, mostly generic blend; but there is little-to-no grease, hardly a drip, which is a big plus for any pizza. In the end, this is “pizza-flavored pizza,” exactly how you’d except a pie to taste. While this might be the king of the dollar slice style, it’s roughly 3 times the cost. Not bad pizza, but a bit overpriced for this type of pie.
