Table 87 - Brooklyn Heights

Very sharp looking, rather large, coal-fired pie. Looks & tastes very similar to Grimaldi’s. The sauce is incredibly sweet, like the secret ingredient is pure sugar, but easily the best part. Cheese has a nice texture, not as distinct in flavor though. The dough is tasty but super soft. Crust has a nice char but lacks crispness. It’s basically imitation Grimaldi’s pizza, coal-fired and too soft. Delicious nonetheless, just need to crisp this bad boy up and we’re talking mid-to-high 8s.
