Fresh taste, good crust and nice people.

This is the thin and crispy Portnoy style pizza. Right off the bat I could tell there is just something different about this sauce. It doesn’t taste like the typical pizza sauce. Reminded me of the kind of sauce you have when you get meatballs at a restaurant and it’s 100% beef meatballs. The thin and crispy is as advertised. It wasn’t super duper thin which i honestly like better. Not apart of this score but they also have a sourdough pizza which I enjoyed

So, first time in Jersey, first time having real New Jersey Pizza, and I downloaded the app specifically to find the best I could try. This exceeded my expectations, and the staff were so amazing-I will be back on my next trip this way!

Plain slice is the score that shows. Good solid. Little burnt on the undercarriage. (I like crispy but it had a char taste) but I would get again. The buffalo was pretty good. 7.9 on that!

I have never done this before but I went back and watched Dave’s video. I walked in and ordered a cheese pizza. No one explained they had a thin option etc. my pizza was doughy and average. Should have done my research, I just grabbed the menu and ordered a cheese pizza. It is what it is. My pizza was ok.

Simply delicious. No flop, great crust, excellent cheese to sauce ratio.

Doughy and otherwise forgettable.

Personally I am disappointed. Dave has lost his touch since Covid. The thin and crispy was lacking the crisp as it was fairly doughy. Portnoy has sold out

Floppy and not crispy. Disappointing and definitely a special pie was made for Dave.

Went in for a lunch slice, being from out of town went with a fresh pie. Outstanding service, conversation, and pizza lived up to the hype. Very light, crispy, and overall excellent pizza

Did not taste great. The sauce and cheese were okay, nothing special. The dough on the other hand tasted like they used left over dish water to make it. Not sure if I got a bad pie but this wasn’t good.

Classic NY style pie. Good sauce and cheese proportions. I would order again.
