The overall community score is bloated from 5 perfect-10 artificial ratings; so don’t come here with expectations of elite pizza. Considering this pie is very thick, incredibly doughy & super soft with ZERO crispness, I wouldn’t expect anyone to put this pizza in the upper echelon. The cheese reminds me of the kind you’d find on a Tombstone frozen pie or on amusement park pizza, bright white, very melty with an oozy consistency and texture. It’s the kind of pizza you give to little kids cause it’s soft and easy to chew. The star of the pie is the uniquely delicious sauce. Sweet, tangy, lots of zip & kick but unlike any other pizza sauce I’ve ever had...total plot twist! Here I am thinking I’m gonna rate this pie in the 6s and the sauce completely redeems the entire pizza. While I do prefer a crispy pie, not every pizza has to be crispy to be tasty. In a massive upset, I’m going with a 7.4, which some may think is still too high. It’s too bad all the fake scores jacked up the overall rating; setting people up for disappointment if they’re expecting pizza in the high 8s. But the truth is, it’s a sleeper soft pie worth trying just for the sauce.
