Better than it looks. Sauce is very flavorful. Soft and crispy crust. Overall good pizza.

Really good slice of pizza. Needed a few more minutes in the oven to get a little crispier. Had some flop to it but I will say it’s the best I have had in OC

One of the best NY-style pizzas I have has in Orange County! Very good look, no flop very nice crisp. I say the sauce needs a bit more of a zip and zest to it. The pizza is missing something and I think it's a tang. However, the crisp of the pizza really makes it worth it.

Slice is a little on the chewier side, but flavor was good. Some slices may be a little greasier than others, but overall a good pizza!

Quick lunch - very good. Thin and good crisp. Lots of choices - good prices. Worth driving for. I need to go back and try again

Didn’t want to do a rookie score and give it 8.0 but it was 7.9 or 8.1. I think most people are right when they call this the best cheese pizza in Orange County. I think I will struggle to find better. Little on the sweet sauce, but not too much where I’m going to not love the pizza. I think if the pizza had traditional sauce maybe higher score. Perfect crunch all the way through the pizza and the crust was CRUNCH. Not doughy at all throughout the entire pizza. The cheese tasted good very traditional in that regard. Not too much grease which means not too much flop. Amazing pizza! If you’re local you have to try. Bonus score, garlic knots 7.7.

I found the best pizza in Orange County and possibly California. The sauce is unbelievable, nice tang and it’s what makes the pizza IMO. Great cheese. Cooked perfectly. Also great NY style flavor in the crust with some char. A little flop but that’s fine. I’m from Boston, lived in NYC and Chicago so I’m picky with my pies. This one is very good!

I randomly found this spot while driving down the coast. A really solid pizza, think New York style, sweet sauce with a nice authentic Italian rustic flavor. Not super greasy, nice char with a chewy texture, nice crunch on the crust. It was solid, something about the cheese could have wow’d more but it wasn’t bad at all. I just felt like the cheese was lacking... I dunno, uh depth? It just seemed like that was the weakest component to the pie even though it was still very good. Would recommend for sure.

Really good pizza if you don’t order when they’re busy. When busy the pizza tends to be inconsistent. Usually meaning overcooked. But when done right, it’s the best pizza in the area by far. Closest to NY pizza but nothing close to places like John’s of Bleeker.

For someone who grew up in NY and now lives in So Cal, this place is one of the best around for a quick NY slice or pie. My only issue is that the pizzas are a little inconsistent. On a good day this place could be a 7.8, but I’m giving it the average score. Still would definitely recommend

One bite everybody knows the rules. Score: 9.8 possibly the best pie this side of the Mississippi River. AMAZING. the crunch, the sauce, the toppings. Fabulous. This pie is the real deal. Do not forget the garlic knots Frankie.

Super long lines and too busy taking phone calls when the line is out the door. Waited 45 minutes before asking for my order just to see it’s been ready and cold. Greasy and super flop. Wouldn’t come back.

Superrr greasy. Lots of flop. Nice and thin but really not as good as I was hoping or expecting. Not much else to say about this slice. Just very greasy. Flavor wasn’t bad but didn’t pop.

Good pie. Some flop and not crispy enough for me but it’s a really good pie. I’d eat here again. Next time I’ll order it cooked extra crispy.
