The 450 Pizza Joint

little flop, sauce was relevant & sweet. i liked the small roni’s. crust was on point.

Good Detroit Style pizza. Could have used some more cheese and the first bite didn’t really explode with flavor like I was hoping. Pizza relies heavily on the marinara sauce in order to stay afloat.

Really crispy and little to no flop. Not a bad pizza for the area and is New York style as advertised. Could use some more cheese or something.

really thin pizza, little greasy for my liking, and sauce is pretty bland. Very good dough.

Great but minimal cheese stretch. Crust is firm yet chewy.

Good pizza, two styles Detroit and New York. This pizza could have been rated higher if it was a little less greasy.

Great crust, as close to true NY style as I’ve found down south. Good but not great sauce is the only thing holding this pizza back from maybe breaking into the 8’s. Will for sure have again.

The Big Mike. Pretty fantastic pizza. No artisanal BS here. I’ve eaten at most pizza restaurants in mount pleasant. There are few that compare. Sure you could go down the street for some fancy cheese with clams on cardboard, but I rather keep my insides inside of me. 450- badass high quality toppings, robust flavors, diesel crust. This is not bitch pizza.
