The Angelo Pizza

My family from Dubai and India really liked it. They were amazed by the cheese, sauce, and their favorite was the The Big Ang. Will definitely recommend if you are in the Philly area.

Unique flavor. Good ingredients. Cheese and sauce flow together well. Minimal flop, nice crunch. Just not crazy about the sauce flavor, but overall it’s good

Good pizza. Great sauce. Nice people. Be warned the cherry pepper in the box is very hot. His name Is really Pizza.

Portnoy did crack before that interview. This pizza’s definitely in the 8s and best in Philly except for the other Angelo’s.

The guy makes a great meatball pie. I’m Italian, I’m picky about my meatballs, Angelo has never disappointed me. Wish I could eat this every damn day.

Best pizza I’ve had in a while. I got the plain (8.8), which is my official score. But I also got the tomato pie (7.6), and the meatball (8.1). Extremely high quality ingredients, which is obvious. Old school meets new school vibes. He certainly lives up to his name of Angelo Pizza. #THWND

The gravy had such a bite to it. The dough was consistent, not super airy. Great crunch and but still foldable. The cook on it was perfect. So even. They must cook it at 600+’ degrees. You can tell. This might be our new favorite spot. The smell brough me back to my childhood. It reminded me of like a Luigi’s in park slope Bklyn. Hard to find good pizza in Philly. Trust me.

Bday pie crazy hot , tangy sauce pretty solid

The Big Ang! High quality ingredients all the way through. The sauce has hints of more than tomato and the mozzarella on top is definitely freshly made. Dough could be cooked more but this is a double dough. Would get if I was in the area again!!

Best pizza you’ll get in the area, possibly even all of Philly. Once you taste it you’ll understand

Now this is the birthday pie I was looking for… one year later and ya boy still got it. This charcoal dusted crust from a wood fired oven is almost as hot as my pizza partner 😉 this small lil jawn has all the necessary ingredients to make your mouth water and ask for more

Hands down best pizza in Philly. This place has killer sauce and thin crust that’ll make you come crawling back for more. Believe the hype - this place is the real deal. Oh yea and This guy’s last name is actually “Pizza”.

So 1st off the owners last name is Pizza that’s a plus right there! Ordered the Paulie! Pizza was really good! Thin had that perfect crisp,sauce had a tang, perfect amount of cheese and meatball!
