5.4- 🍕 6.3- deep dish sausage Generous scored considering I wouldnt have finished that pepp slice even if I was hungry and the sauce on the deep dish left a bad taste in my mouth. Not a big fan overall and would only come back if I was drunk or high.

Cheesier than the dad jokes my old man used to say before he left my mom

there’s enough cheese on here to feed a family. honestly this slice gets a one point bump though for how crispy and flaky the crust was.

Bland on bland. The crust is crispy and flavorless. The sauce has no flavor and looks like it’s mostly tomato paste. Same on the cheese.

Slices were sitting on the hot plate for who knows how long, which doesn’t help. Probably would get a better score if I ordered a fresh pie. Not a deep dish guy, but was solid. Liked the sauce and cheese. Taste was good, but not the most memorable. Crust only had a good crisp on the edge. Again, probably would have been better all around and made the 7s had I ordered a fresh pie.

Pretty good deep dish but definitely a lil overhyped. Pizza slice was sitting in a hotbox for who knows how long so I’m sure that didn’t help the taste as much.

Ordering by the slice leaves a bit to be desired but a full pizza from the Art is really tough to beat. Cooked perfectly, fresh quality ingredients, and great tasting sauce makes for one of the best in the city. Deep or thin you can’t go wrong

Art of Pizza still is all about the deep dish, but I had to give the tavern style thin crust a shot. Crust is largely average as far as thin crust in Chicago. The sauce is very good, but lacking in quantity. Deliciously fresh cheese and heavy oregano push this pizza into the 7s. Solid pizza, but if you’re at Art, get the deep dish. It might be my favorite in the city

Me being the pizza king of Chicago and even the world thought I would make the jaunt to the art of pizza and try what they’ve been cooking up. Got both the thin crust and Chicago style. The thin crust was far below average with a puffy crust that was extremely chewy and had absolutely no crunch. Tasted like a frozen pizza with no passion put into the making of the pizza. The Chicago style was much better and had good balance on cheese and sauce. Just a bit too much dough but thought it was pretty good slice.

Got this slice literally fresh out of the oven. Went with the classic cheese. Overall a pretty solid slice, good sauce, a mix crispy and doughy, and quality cheese. Deep dish here is also good!
