The Art of Pizza

First of all, they completely forgot to put my toppings on the pizza… tough start. Secondly, pretty mediocre overall. Almost no sauce, way too much cheese. Only stopped by because Pequod’s down the street was slammed.

Deep Dish = 8.9 Thin Crust = 6.7 Deep Dish is HEAVY

Best deep dish in Chicago. Look this is still deep dish so expect it to put you in a coma, but it is the best of the best. The sauce is tangy and the crust has way better flavor than other deep dish. 8.3. Exceptionally fair score.

The art of pizza. Either its cause i was already defeated by the pizza back in Florida, or this is some seriously good pie. Great cracker bar style undercarriage with stretchy mozzarella that marries itself so well to the bread. Bar styles are relatively the same in Chicago, but here, it looks like I found the bar. Amazing dinner pizza.

Solid pan slice, wish there was a little bit more sauce. Just a touch too bready for me but overall enjoyable

Not sure why this place gets hyped up so much. It wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t that great either. The pizza was overly doughy with too much bread in every bite. Not enough sauce, and whatever sauce was on there was drying up quick. It’s convenient to be able to get deep dish by the slice, but I wasn’t too impressed by the taste.

This is good chicago deep dish. Throw some pepper onion spinach and it’s even better. Their thin crust is good. Cheesy, thick. Not watery sauce. Good crust

Reliably good. Puffier, breadier and not as crisp as other local deep dish options.

Crust can have more flavor but the pizza is good. It’s has good portion of toppings.

5.4- 🍕 6.3- deep dish sausage Generous scored considering I wouldnt have finished that pepp slice even if I was hungry and the sauce on the deep dish left a bad taste in my mouth. Not a big fan overall and would only come back if I was drunk or high.

Good crust, good toppings. Maybe lacking in the red sauce area.

Flaky buttery crust, love the sauce. Little too cheesy.

Cheesy. Delicious crust. Sauce is incredible.

there’s enough cheese on here to feed a family. honestly this slice gets a one point bump though for how crispy and flaky the crust was.

Bland on bland. The crust is crispy and flavorless. The sauce has no flavor and looks like it’s mostly tomato paste. Same on the cheese.

Good pub slice

Slices were sitting on the hot plate for who knows how long, which doesn’t help. Probably would get a better score if I ordered a fresh pie. Not a deep dish guy, but was solid. Liked the sauce and cheese. Taste was good, but not the most memorable. Crust only had a good crisp on the edge. Again, probably would have been better all around and made the 7s had I ordered a fresh pie.
