The Bakehouse At Chelsea

Margarita, wood fired pie. Amazing taste, tangy sauce, a little floppy but good crunch on the crust - light and thin. Really good flavor.

I was excited about trying this place, it’s a very cool establishment. Unfortunately the pizza does not meet the expectations. Very salty, tons of grease and cheese and flop. Ordered well done and there’s still zero crisp to it. There are much better and cheaper places in the area.

Often overloaded leading to some flop, but crust is crisp and complex, sauce is good, overall a very solid pizza that could compete anywhere

I usually like to do this with cheese but I didn’t order this pizza. Nice and thin, bread was amazing, perfect amount of char. The sauce was not overpowering. Crust is a soft crust. I like a bit of crunch up there but I recognize that’s there’s different strokes for different folks so I’m not gonna dock any points for that. If you’re drinking at The Birch, one door over, they deliver into the brewery.

Alright review # whatever!!! Lol. Here we go in Hipster east Norfolk, VA. Forget the hype, i was recommend this and well, maybe it’s had better days, not a fan! Looks crispy but is incredibly chewy, great flavor but poorly executed. The pizza kid gives a 7.1, I’m a 6.4!

Great dough. Decent neopiliton style in a wood fired oven. Sauce could use quite a bit more salt.

Good pizza, a bit over priced. Needs a bit more crunch in the crust. All ingredients are good. Greasy, but overall good.
