The Black Raspberry Pub

This is a tricky one because I have had a lot of good food at Black Raspberry Pub. Nachos, wings, chicken sandwich... truly outstanding. The pizza is fine but not the best thing on their menu. I am a bar pie fan and will never complain about getting a Black Raspberry pie. It is tasty and a decent pie. The one shortcoming for me is the crust (undercarriage). It is a bit too soft and chewy for a truly top notch bar pie. Good lace and crisp on the edge but it doesn't carry to the whole crust below. Just chewy and not as crisp to bite into. Also a little thin on the toppings when you ger a sausage like I typically do. Good pie. You won't regret it. Nothing extraordinary though. Keep expectations realistic and you'll be very happy. And by all means try the full menu. They are good people putting out some really good food.
