Pizza Review
Alright Frankie, we’re at Sliced by the Blue Raven in Pikeville. Here we got the “butcher block” pizza which is basically a meat lovers. The pizzas are cooked in a brick oven and you can taste that in the crust which I appreciate. Quality stuff Frank. The crust was able to hold its own with the hefty amount of meaty toppings. Not much flop at all but yet no crunch...That’s what’s keeping me from giving this pie an 8+. Also, there’s really no other pizza joint in this town so I don’t know how this pizza would fair against competition. So the 7.4 is fitting. It’s a good score. A quality score. Not a great score. But a good score.
