The Crushed Tomato - Summerville

Pulling up to this place you think you’re about to go work a 9-5 in some sweaty factory. Don’t be fooled because once you walk in you’re met with a nice homely atmosphere that screams family. Antique decor and a huge brick oven in the back make your wait fly by. Then comes the pie. You pick up this slice and immediately think you’re about to bite into your typical delivery crust and hope the sauce and toppings are good. Then after the first bite you realize you were tricked and the crust is excellent. This is then followed by a rush of flavor coming from the sauce and at this point any toppings you decided on are just an added bonus. Solid pizza, great flavor.
