Third review, the Detroit Roni (upside down style) Wow what a freaking amazing pizza. No major complaints at all. Really an amazing pizza!

Great undercarriage. Crust was perfect. We also tried the square- both fantastic. Sauce was tangy and delicious. I rarely disagree with el pres but this one’s at least a 8.1, I say 8.3.

Incredible pizza served with an ideal ratio of fresh ingredients. The dough is flavorful and cooked perfectly to give it a great chewy consistency with limited flop. The sauce is delicious and savory. The tasty cheese is fresh, chewy and ample amount Is applied on top.

Big bar pie. More flop than I expected but a very good pie. Also got the Detroit style with pepperoni and hot honey. (7.2). I believe it was a special. Very good representation of the style. Great fries, really good wings.

Wonderful bar pie! Would recommend it to anyone. Little less grease and a bit more crisp in the middle and this is in the high 8’s.

Small plain pie may not be what the Galley's known for but they make a very solid one. Really crisp dough & a nice balance of cheese & sauce. A little too oily & salty for this to be among the best but I'd say it's worth trying if you find yourself in Asbury Park.

Thin pizza with great flavor and crunch. Good balance of sauce and cheese. No flop and not greasy. The mac and cheese was awesome too!

Lots of different styles to choose from here, all look tremendous. Some say their squares are the marquee slices but I went with the bar pie cause that’s what I thought I’d enjoy most. It’s a rather large pizza, definitely bigger than your average bar pie. The dough is thin and firm, zero flop with nice crisp on the undercarriage leading to an incredibly crispy crust that straddles the line of burnt. Since Jersey Shore water is just a notch below the magic NYC water, the dough is tremendously tasty. Like most bar pies, the cheese is extremely tight but a little too oily and salty. The taste of the cheese combined with the grease and salt overpowers the flavor of the sauce to the point where it’s hard to distinguish the sweetness of the sauce. It’s still a very good large version of a bar pie, quite similar to Pizza Land in North Arlington. The staff is incredibly nice, they make terrific local Jersey Shore pizza, but it just misses the cutoff as a destination/travel spot.

Station 83 potentially my favorite pizza of all time. Plenty of times i’ve gotten something else to eat elsewhere instead of the Station 83 and i always end up thinking “i should’ve just gone to The Galley and gotten the Station 83”. All-timer of a pizza.

Very good pizza! It had amazing crust and crisp. Also, the flavor was very good. However, it wasn’t quite good enough to put my score in the 9’s. The atmosphere inside has a nice vibe as well. Definitely recommend giving this place a try!
